Welcome!  This website includes my paternal family lines.  My paternal grandparents were PETTRY and WILLIAMS.  The majority of information in this tree is on my PETTRY, PETTREY, PETRY, PETRIE lines that trace back to MARTIN PETRY.  Other surnames on my paternal side include PRICE, BURNSIDE, DUNN, CORNETT, HATFIELD, JARRELL, WEBB, ABBOTT, and SCARBROUGH.

My father, James Roland Pettry, has been researching our roots for as long as I can remember.  His research plus D. L. Petry's book "Petry, Pettry, Petrey, Pettrey, and Allied Families" are my main sources of information included here.

NOTE:  I have not been actively researching for many years now but hopefully the data I have entered will be helpful to other folks researching.  I encourage you to use any data you see here as a starting point only to help make your connections.  You should validate any and all info yourself.

I have included many stories written by my father on some people in our direct line that you may find interesting.
